Why does YouTube Analytics not show subscriber count anymore?

 As far as my knowledge cutoff of September 2021, YouTube Analytics still shows the subscriber count for channels. However, YouTube has made some changes to how it displays subscriber counts in recent years.


Previously, YouTube would show the exact number of subscribers on a channel, but now it displays subscriber counts in ranges. This is to prevent creators from obsessing over small fluctuations in their subscriber counts and to reduce the incentive for people to engage in subscriber manipulation or buying fake subscribers.


How can I promote my videos on YouTube?

Additionally, YouTube has made changes to how it calculates and displays subscriber counts to better reflect the number of active subscribers on a channel. This means that the subscriber count shown on YouTube may differ from the number shown on third-party platforms or social media profiles.
